SHOALHAVEN COAST WINE REGION
The Shoalhaven Coast Wine region was declared in 2002. The region is under the administration of the Shoalhaven Coast Wine Industry Association (SCWIA), the region has 16 vineyards and 11 cellar doors in a diverse range of locations throughout the area. Make sure you visit some of the cellar doors in the area while staying.
Jervis Bay is said to possess the whitest sand in the world and has some of the best whale watching along the east coast of Australia.
NOWRA & SURROUNDS
The Shoalhaven on the New South Wales South Coast is still one of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of Australia's coastline. With the region's main Tourist Information Centre located just south of Shoalhaven River Bridge, Nowra is a great place to start your journey.
The beautiful town of Berry is famous for its gardens, trees, arts and crafts, antiques and markets. There something for everyone in Berry. Dont forget the 1st Sunday of Each month (except February) is the Berry Markets held at the Berry Showground.
Kangaroo Valley is a beautiful, unspoilt paradise just 2 hours from Sydney and Canberra, yet a world away from anywhere. A step back in time.
The Kiama experience starts with pristine uncrowded beaches, rolling green pastures, handmade dry stone walls, heritage architecture and spectacular natural scenery.
Recognised as the gateway to the South Coast of NSW, Wollongong has many attractions focusing around the coastline and escarpment. Be sure to make your way south along the Grand Pacific Drive.
